OK the answers are - we woke up at Devizes Wharf John having brought Epiphany down on Wednesday. This evening we locked down 6 locks and are moored above the Caen Hill top lock!
Bizarrely moored behind us is Alpha Salix - a Bath Narrowboats/owner build. We shall be locking down the flight with them as soon as the flight is unlocked at 8 am. Even more strange is that we came up Caen Hill on our maiden journey with Salix Alpha with her first owner as he was bringing her up to Devizes Marina brokerage to sell her!
We have decided to stay below the flight next week prior to starting our holiday cruise. Also we will be at The Three Magpies, Sells Green to see The Drifters tomorrow evening and can both have a bevy as we can walk home! We have tickets and look forward to some good music and a good evening, we hope!
